Pyke has a thresh like q that has to be charged, but yet is prolly better than blitzcranks pull. Once people get good at him I will prolly have to start banning the guy lol. Although I will wait a month or two before I start doing that, I want people to have a chance to play him first. He really doesn't seem bad and with his heal he has amazing sustain in lane.
whenver a new champ come out he always have a low winrate ,until ppl know how to use him
That seems like an average win rate for someone who's been out for less than a week. If you think he's underpowerd you're mistaken.
(p.s.) it's a shen rework not ryze.
is as bad as 39%
win rate
.
What do you expect when people are still learning him? His kit is extremely strong in the hands of someone who spent the last 2 weeks PBEing him.
Ornn was also pulling about 38%...... at the same time as I was pulling 72% by playing him Jungle/Support.
I've already seen Pyke Pentakills :)
It's....literally not even a week.
His sustain is surprising. I used resolve tree with aftershock, bone plating, second wind and overgrowth on him. I would take damage walk away and be almost back at full health after a trade. He does have to dip in dip out a lot but being able to sustain that long while your adc lays into the enemy is pretty nifty. I’m excited to keep getting better with him.
His early cool downs feel loooooonnnnggggg, and his mana costs are high. With his real opportunities being skill shot based if you miss, there bot lane has a while to take advantage of you.
Eh. His long CDs and mana costs + that anyone with a brain can outplay his Q + the fact that you have to be within sight range with the W to do anything of use + the fact that Q gets no perks/breaks stealth and has to be wound up coming out of W + the fact that he's built like an engage champ but his engage sets him up for getting his face melted + the fact that he can pretty much be gunned down to 0 in about 1 second by a ton of champs. . .
I know I am terrible at him. But I see no potential for me. And if I am facing one in lane as Zyra, I see him giving us the kill gold. Not impressed at all to be honest. And the fact that it's almost impossible to practice with him because every mid-laner is now a pyke supp main is also antagonizing. I'll wait to see what they do to his kit the next few weeks and whether or not people end up getting bored of him and reassess. But for now? Meh. Pure meh.
Maybe in Faker's hands. But definitely not in mine. And probably totally useless as a supp pre-plat for most players. Blitz/Thresh mains will even have a hard time using him.
The problem is everyone goes full assassin when they should be going tanky. Like his ult is an EXECUTE. So it does not matter if you have pen or not - it's gonna kill them. You don't see garen or darius going full lethality in most games... because they know they just have to survive, trade damage and then when their opponent is low enough... it doesn't matter if they have sunfire cape and spirit visage or cleaver and deadman's... their opponent just dies. But rather than realize this and go tanky early to actually survive for more than 1.5 sec in a fight, pyke players go full damage. Lethality on pyke support shouldn't even be considered until 3rd item or more unless you are literally able to 1v2 the enemy adc and sup because they're that bad.
