Why does every champions parents/mentors have to die? Seriously, Even 
the wholesome goo man himself, had his parents die his last lore update.
Does riot just have a parent killing fetish or something? You don't need a characters parents/mentor to die for them to be interesting.
Heck the 2 I just thought of who's parents are still alive are:
: Who has a strained relationship with hers.
: Who's mentor and father figure, His Uncle, Died.
Ekko's parents are also alive.
Because most people do die eventually,

While it does seem common for Riot to kill off parents, it's not like Disney.

The cute champions lately aren't what make Riot Disney. It is their habit of killing the parents of their characters that makes them Disney.
It worked for Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Daredevil, etc., so it'll work for Riot's superheroes, too!
