If you buy a control ward while having a full build it should go into your trinket slot
Title. Would be pretty nice and after using it the actual trinket goes on a cooldown to prevent abuse or something.

Not a bad idea. Or some t3 Trinkets that unlock at level 16 might be a good option.
Things like this have been suggested forever. At one point it even looked likely that we'd get it... Unfortunately though, the last few seasons, they've been moving away from allowing us to have as many vision options. Makes it seem unlikely that this will happen.
I fully support the idea though, I'd love to be able to keep warding even though I've got other items.
tbh control wards should have their own slot separate from everything else. It's the only item I can think of that wouldn't be unfair to do this with aside from maybe potions.
