Ah, but you see, Rito has worked it so that friends give much less honor points to their buddies than to random strangers. Also, repeat honors lessen the number of honor points given. So, basically, after the third or fourth honor, this premade won't be helping eachother keep those fancy ribbons.

Hope so I've only had the badge once and it was for being honorable Afterwords it decayed but still when you put effort in to gain said badge and someone else just boosts the way to it :/

I don't think they can boost their way into it. Premades giving honor to each other gets its effectiveness reduced pretty quickly, so the main way to get honor is still to have strangers give it to you.

They actually aren't.

I've had my honors wiped completely out of the blue without warning, for "honoring my friends" a few times... like seriously maybe a handful of games, and only because they actually DID have good teamwork with me and everyone else - not just within our premade...

I asked rito why this happened and they, in a very hostile manner, replied to me that it's not only against the rules, but bannable...

The problem is that this isn't common knowledge and isn't really stated anywhere people will commonly read rules. We're just EXPECTED to know this, and if we don't well... not only does riot wipe them without telling you, or warning you first... but if you email them on it they jump down your throat and act like you're a freaking hacker or the scum of the earth or something. lol...

Still pretty salty about that exchange of emails, and how it was/is handled by them, not gonna lie.

Gibberwatt is correct.

You CAN'T get a ribbon by trading with your premades anymore (you could in the first few days of the system's release because back then you needed only a few honours to qualify for a ribbon.)

As for 'working to get the badges', who even cares anymore. I haven't been honoured in many games, despite myself honouring others. I think a lot of people forgot the system exists. (plus I have over 600 honours and still no ribbon)

this is just like the premade/solo Q badges, nobody cares

They can't.

A friend of mine always honored teamwork with me for about two years, giving me over 400 teamworks. I have no ribbon to show for it.

They can honor each other but it contributes way less then if it's an actual person not in their party. I've had several of the honor crests and none of them came from people I knew honoring me, they always came up because of the random players in the game.
