A cure for the "support issue" with new que times

I usually don't post my opinion on how to fix something because I always just think riot probably has people smarter than myself working on it. But this time I felt like I had a decent idea so I'll give my two cents. These new q times have been rough. And we all know that it's mostly because no one wants to support. So how do we fix it without screwing up the system or reverting back to the previous system? Here's how I would do it:

1)Have an invisible third role for everyone that is marked "fill". Therefore the next match would take the first person in q that has fill. HOWEVER...

2)have diminishing returns on the person who just had to "fill." So basically let's say your primary is mid and your secondary is top(and obviously your invisible third role is fill). But next game you were in the top of the q and had to fill for the team and now your supporting. For the next three games, your invisible fill spot is gone. Therefore you are guaranteed your primary and secondary role for the next three games. Then, after the third game ends and you hop back in q, the system reads you just played 3, and your fill position is back up. Now, you might not get support the next few games because it depends on who has the fill spot up or not. But, with this system, just like the old system, everyone takes turns doing support, or "filling" of any sort.

No, if I get fill, I'm just going to que dodge.

No, filling means "I just want to play."

The reason people don't want to play support are all bad ones:

  1. ADC's are insanely toxic. You're either too passive, or too aggressive. And it's never the fault of the ADC.

  2. People think kills matter. They don't. You get to have 3 times the kills our team does, and if I have 3 waves of super minions, you're screwed.

  3. People with insecurities needs to be able to dunk people to feel better about themselves.

if you hate playing Support, let me give you some golden advice. In your next game, congratulate your support for every stupid little thing they do. Warding, saves, buffs, recalling at the right time, heals, taking the correct keystone, taking that Cait ult for you, warding dragon, not taking CS, and staying positive.

When the support feels appreciated, more people play support. You (royal you) can reduce your queue times by being a decent person.

I main support, I'm actually having problems getting in on that role. And the times I have gotten into ranked as a support I've been stuck in the most frustrating situations. Including someone FPing my support so they could get a counter on mid lane (Yasuo and Nami trade), only to refuse to trade and leave me with support Yasuo. A champion I've never played designed entirely outside of that role. Then I'm shoe-horned into doing the -right- thing and dodging so the 3 others don't have to put up with that sort of loss. Then I had to wait yet again only to meet more screaming in champ select and even longer queues where despite what roll I ask the dynamic queue system for I will likely end up somewhere else. This system is frustrating, but again it's the playerbase and the community that make it like that sadly. It wasn't designed to be that way.

What support issue?

I main support and have chosen bot, top, mid, fill, ANYTHING secondary to try and get my preferred role. I seem to get my secondary 50% of the time when queueing alone.
