Hey, so im playing riven for quite time and in every game i have the doubts about which first items i get on her. the first option for me is rush hydra, get the AD, Lifesteal and the waveclear. then brutalizer > blackcleaver the second option is rush brutlizer>tiamat>black cleaver. this gives me 40 CDR and decent amount of AD but no life steal. so what do you think should i do, and do you think i should buy boots or the blackcleaver passive is enough? thanks
The passive may be enough to stick to the target, but you want something to get around the map better to.
Have you thought about Furor boots, Zeke's Herald, Tiamat, and Brutalizer?
That gives you sticking power, CDR, AD, waveclear, lifesteal and flat penetration all together.
Riven has enough waveclear, people get Tiamat for the animation cancelling with it... Your most important item is Last Whisper, because people will get armor against you, unless you are playing vs bronze or something. The classic old Riven build was Last Whisper and stacking BTs. Get Tiamat, Whisper and tank, don't try to be Box Box or something, because you will probably lose the game for your team - having 500 ad Riven that can't go anywhere near the enemy team, because they explode you the second they see you is very "fun" for your team. Riven why are you full AD? That's how you build her, nob!... DEFEAT, gg, ez.
