I have a 63% winrate over 100 games and I was getting 25 lp per win all through plat. Once I hit plat 1 i started to only get 19. I was consistently gaining 19 lp per win in plat 1 but once I promoted to D4, I instantly started gaining 14. My winrate is still basically the same. Whats up with this?
Oleandervine1 votesI believe that generally you get more LP if your MMR is higher than your enemies - basically, your skill rating is much higher, which indicates you should be placing well above the people you're going against, so you tend to rise through the ranks faster. However, you will hit a wall, and eventually come up against enemies who's MMR is fairly close to yours, and that's when your boosted growth slows down, and it's now more of a test of skill to determine if you deserve to stay at the rank you've achieved.
