Any thoughts on Elder + Chogath and other high or true damage champs.

Just played a game where the enemy Cho'gath went HP/AP. His q instantly killed below 3/4 hp, his w kill anyone below 1/2 hp, and his ult, and I when looking at the damage chart, after being ate by cho it did 1800 True damage and then 500 magic damage, which due to the elder execute meant that he could actually eat any non tank, and instantly kill them. As most ADC/Assassins have around 2k health total. I may be a shitty player and I play casually due to unpredictable ping, but I am curious to anyone else thoughts on this, don't care what rank. In my opinion elder is blatantly broken. Especially considering how easy it is to get such high damage values. Not angry at it, just kinda, eh, it just seems off to me.
