Hey Rioters, what are your thoughts on Swain?

As a dedicated Swain main, I'm curious as to what kind of a state you guys think he's in at the moment. As he fits into this Juggernaut role (low/no mobility, high sustain damage, innate tankiness) that was recently created/named, are there any discussions going on around him gameplay wise? Seeming as you've already mentioned there will be work around Shyvana and Olaf, I wanted to know if there may have been something sneaking around about him.

I'd personally love it if he could somehow manage to save a tad more mana in the late late stages of the game. I feel his ult slightly forces this "all in or nothing" playstyle, which if you don't commit, literally leaves you defenseless for 8 seconds if you don't kill your target and are forced to turn off your ult due to the exponential mana cost. Though I'm well aware of how easy it is to snowball with him, so I'll leave my thoughts with a grain of salt.

they already answered that . they said hes strong. Hes kept in line by many things in the game. So hes ok for now. But if the right meta would come, then they feel he would be a walking machine of destruction.

Personally i dont think the meta they are talking about even exists. Every meta came into the game practically. He was always who he is and kept in line by the same stuff. More so at times than others.

Swain is to me, the most balanced champ in league of legends and I dont ever see a meta unless its something like 5 melee adc like champs being the meta for some time. Otherwise his kit has enough counterplay and so many checks through his weaknesses I dont think well ever see a meta where swain will have to be nerfed

Hes in a good place. There's enough options to keep him in check, but he's still powerful enough to be relevant.

Ive seen a friend win a 5v1 with this monster. He got the caries ccd from a bush when the walked past him, one turned around to drop a ward in the bush so he just went for it, ended them before the others could peal him off. It was disgusting in a beautiful way.
