How do you identify when a champion is pretty damn strong

When you play bots and they do massive damage as that champion,,, OR, When they have no fuckin items and still do ridiculous damage. Zyra comes to mind.

Yeah I died to the intermediet bot zyra while attacking lucian. Alot of times I feel all the bots use their ults and summoner spells on me. I got ignited 4 times as voli, ulted by lucian, zyra, and brand. Pretty annoying.

Or some bots have a better AI than others

Some do. Make a Lucian fight an Ashe and it will become VERY apparent. Or, gank an Ashe Bot, then a Lucian Bot. You should notice the difference.

yes. You mean like the intermediate Ashe bot that fires the arrow instantly in your face when you walk out of a bush?

Pure game knowledge. All there is to it. Knowing how every champ scales, what items they like, and their approximate dps/tankiness based on that.

The thing is, not everyone has time to mememorize the scaling and math of every single ability and champion. I've done that to an extent; AD or AP, light, medium or heavy damage, CC, and cooldown windows, I memorized those, but not everybody has time to do that. Especially people who get compstomped.

It isn't memorization so much as... familiarization. At least for most people. I love numbers and do know a lot of scalings by heart. That being said factual knowledge isn't what I rely on while playing. After enough time you will be able to look at a Jax's cdr and, without knowing the exact number, always know when his leap strike is up.

LoL has a lot of important knowledge to learn but it isn't something you memorize. It is something you learn while playing the game.

Zyra is ridiculously frail though, making her surprisingly difficult to use as the games go on. Will try to find a video, but there was a UOL game earlier in which the support hyllisang had like 10 of his team's 20 deaths on support zyra due to being caught out or just 2-shot from ganks.

She is, but shes a champion that, when they aim for your adc, she can pack a large amount of damage and kill them. As opposed to another support like idk, soraka, sona, maybe even blitz.

I lose to bots very often. With 4 botters feeding mid and leaving top&bottom lanes open, there's only so much you can do, even if u keep getting double kills as soon as bots show up in lane and use teleport on cooldown to defend both lanes. Even if you manage to keep top and bot lanes in tact, mid will fall, and soon will others when bots rotate. Eventually I learned how to abuse bots' AI and manage to win 1v9, but that happens only when I'm playing a carry type of champ instead of something like sejuani or amumu.

or do custom games when you want to test something. 1v5 is possible with some champs, and if not, you can use the Riot bots

1v9 is possible with some champs

FTFY

Also yes if I just want to play with bots I can make a custom game, but that's not what I wanted. I intended to play a stress-free environment with other players once in a while, not a game with me alone against AI.
