Matchmaking problems?

Hi Everyone, so I've never started a conversation before but lately I've had some problems where I've been matched up with people who I feel are quite better than me and I end up losing the games. At first I thought it was just me playing badly or being on tilt but after a while I started seeing that the enemy team's performance was better than the players on my team more often than not. So often as a matter of fact that most of, if not all my matches, my team mates and I find ourselves being completely outplayed by the enemy team and we end up horribly negative. I don't want to sound like I'm complaining, and this may only be a phase because it has only been occurring the past few weeks, but has anyone else had issues like this?

It depends on what game mode you are playing. All game modes have their separate mmr's, so if you are playing normals you can easily run into higher ranked players because ranked/normal mmr is separate.

If it is in ranked, if you are going on a win streak you should be getting placed against better people. One thing I disliked about them mixing up your teams order instead of having it based on MMR is because you don't know who the "highest" rated member of your team is anymore. It could be you are the highest rated member of your team and the game just doesn't go well. Also if you feel like you are losing, it could mean you belong in a lower division or tier.
