The end of Tenacity (or WTH is up with Knockups).
First off, I will say that I really hate the fact knockups are unnaffected by tenacity, cleanse and Mikael's. It makes no sense a disable is unnaffected by anti-disable. They don't offer any special gameplay effect (see Nami's Aqua Prison, which is visually a knockup but is affected by tenacity and allows Yasuo's Last Breath).
Talking about Yasuo, he is my main concern here. See, knockups were a great thing before Yasuo existed. They were scarce, low-duration, and often mixed with other forms of CC (Alistar's Pulverize or Lulu's Wild Growth + Polymorph). Even Yasuo was a great addition, the use of a specific form of CC was a neat idea, really. The problem is here:
(apparently
Gravity Field doesn't knockup)
Why do most of the last releases have knockups? Hell, Sion can hold you up in the air for whole 3 seconds. My question is, why to change knockups from a scarce cool effect to a default hard-CC? Even ignoring the fact we're REMOVING SILENCE, which is a SOFT CC. Is all of that so Yasuo can get more Last Breaths? I want to say a thing: it just makes Yasuo more bland/less unique, more boring (having a teamcomp built around you is nice).
Can we please go back to default stun/snare/silence? Just completely forget about knockups and supressions please.
and
, the only CC you can effect with Tenacity is the 0.5 second Silence from Blitzcrank's ultimate and the stun from Anvia.
is capable of absorbing any type of CC outside of a slow-puddle, hitting knockups and suppression alike, so it's not like the true-damage of CC isn't without it's HP.
