Among the many buffs Nocturne needs, one of them is a range indicator on his ult. It's so frustrating when I have a perfect gank and I'm about to go in, but my ult isn't close enough. And by now, I've activated it, and most likely, wasted it. SO pls?
StealthWarden2 votesif you hover over any ability...it give a range indicator, including nocturne and i used it yesterday so im 100% positive that it puts a giant circle around him if you do this.

Assuming you're playing with the camera unlocked, the first press of R would give the range indicator that the mouse-hover currently gives, where you could either press R again to activate the darkness or cancel out of the skill with a movement command.
While smartcasting it would be like how it normally behaves, where pressing R activate the darkness right away, and you can only see the range indicator if you were to hover.
