Why can we get champion shards if we have every champion?
I just don't think that it makes sense to let people who have no use for champion shards get champion shards. Unless I'm completely missing something...

It's like opening a pack of collectable cards and complaining about getting one you already have.
The chests are random. Champion shards are in the chests. Don't complain.
They intend to give a use for them eventually, they just haven't decided what exactly.
(You can also reroll them when new champs come out to get the new champ for sure, but that's probably needless in most cases since those with all champs probably also have tons of spare IP.)
just think once you get 3 saved up and they release a new character you can instantly reshuffle for that character card and instantly get it for free (assumin you own them all) or atleast have a chance at the new character or a super expensive one
