Hello,

I am just a Platinum IV Miss Fortune main, so yeah. Go ahead and call me boosted or disregard my entire opinion because I am not Challenger. I am just trying to address a point which is still lackluster in Platinum and just a personal concern of mine. It's just a rant because I have to blow off some steam, but hell... Maybe someone can learn something from this post or perhaps someone can prove me wrong. Thank you for taking you time to read this post.

People all want to carry, everone wants to do well. People make way too many risks in order to do so. They completely disregard the team's needs and just want to stroke their own ego. I have seen some terrible things in Platinum (luckily I am still climbing). So many games are just simply thrown. Junglers are a big issue in Platinum. They saw what they could accomplish in Silver and are still trying to pull the same old tricks. If you're playing Lee Sin and you play him well, you still don't need to insec carries into your team. Just simply peeling for your team is effective enough. Have some faith in your team for once. The enemy team is just as boosted as your own team.

Ganking is another issue. I know that players still don't ward that often in Platinum, but you don't have to spend all of your time ganking. If a lane is winning and you make a terrible gank, you can throw the entire advantage that lane has away. Look at the state of the game and act accordingly. You are a midlaner and jungler. You don't have to gank lanes, it's completely optional. Don't risk it if you aren't 100% sure that it will succeed. If there is a huge minion wave in a lane and the lane is shoving towards your team's turret, it's still a terrible time to gank. Farm is valuable, your own personal greed isn't. I am not going to blame you for not ganking my lane, I am going to blame you for pulling off a terrible gank which loses a lane.

You don't have to win your lane to do well either. Just don't lose your lane. Be consistent and think all of your actions through. Consistency is much more important than winning your lane for a game. Also, please just stop picking Yasuo, Lee Sin, Teemo, Master Yi, Akali, Riven, Zed and Talon. You're just harming your team by picking something you can't play.

I appreciate you writing this out. Since I'm mostly a jungle main I'm always looking for ways to improve my gameplay. Your comment on ganking is actually very good and makes me rethink how I handle my lanes.

In most cases I will see a lane pushed to my teammates tower and I'll always assume it's a good time to gank. For the most part they are successful but I can see why it might not be wise to miss CS for a gank.

I have a question though. People in silver that get shoved to their tower are constantly under pressure. They will be pinging pretty consistently for help. If there is a wave at their tower should I be there to gank or should I let them farm until the wave starts pushing back?
