So I just played a game where the opponent team was a premade with a level 13 account. Somehow that premade of level 13, Diamond 5, Plat 3, Gold 2, and an unrank player go against a group of silvers. I've seen this before are people using smurf accounts to play against less skilled opponents or just another case of the matchmaking system not being up to snuff?
Has this happened to you? How do you handle it when/if it happens?
kaironen2 votesNormals has a different matchmaking system than ranked. Some people play serious in normals to win. Others, like me, like to play different champions and take the game very lightly (I'm mainly a ranked only player so I don't really do it that much anymore). I personally don't hate the system in normals but I don't really know the competitive side of it.
Azurify2 votesNormals isn't based off rank in soloq. It's got its own MMR system. they may be diamond but they're playing at a gold MMR where a silver is playing at gold MMR so they're all matched up at the same MMR and thrown into the same game.
