How do you carry a feeding bot lane?

I main mid and top. I am S4 and I don't know how to help my bot lane when they are feeding. One thing the guides and youtubers always say when talking about climbing that elo is to CS. But another thing they all say is help your other lanes. If you are ahead, extend that lead to other lanes. So when I see that my bot lane is struggling, I decide I'm going to gank for them. I get a kill and the ADC get a kill. I then return to my lane to farm and "enemy double kill". My point is that most of the time it feels like I have to just sit in bot lane with them in order for them not to feed. But doing that deprives me of cs and my lane opponent is most likely going to punish me for being gone. So what do I do? A lot of the most frustrating games are I do well but the enemy adc comes out of lane with 11:1:0.

Now I want to point out not every bot lane feeds. That would be very unlikely.

A lot of the time if you notice bottom lane is behind, chances are they're always pushed in. If you win top or middle, just shove your lane to the enemy tower and then make TP plays or roam from mid to bot in hopes of relieving pressure or getting a kill.

It doesn't matter if your bot gets the kills or not, but the idea is making your enemies worried that you WILL come back and that alone will make them play a lot less aggro.

I actually have 2 people come down to my lane a lot because I harass and poke them so much as support. Usually it is jungle and mid. We don't feed as a duo (I queue with someone) but we do get a lot of people thirsty. Usually it is 4 v 2. We get them down to half hp and we are both alive. Free kills for allies anyone?

However, some people either are not meant to deal with that many people or can't. This is a team game. It isn't just about staying in one lane.

Go to your lane and start growing crops for a living. Once you've been growing crops for long enough, go brag to the enemy bot lane how much food you have because you started growing crops for a living.
