Why do I keep getting punished for OTHER peoples mistakes?

The past like 5 ranked matches i have done so good, for example : Last match i played as Miss fortune, i was 12/2/7 with 250 farm,** i ended up getting an S but we had such a crappy team that wouldn't work together that just flamed and tilted the whole time to the point where i couldn't even carry being that far ahead. Its ridiculous, like why do I keep getting punished** and losing LP when i'm doing everything i can to try and help my teammates get ahead yet they flame me for being bad even when i'm the only one doing good. Please someone explain? Because this is getting ridiculous.item 3070 [zombie-brand-facepalm]

^^^ i have to agree with XreadyPlayerOnex, cause ive been doing splended job, ill play Miss fortune and get way ahead, or ill play amumu and get way ahead, if i play miss fortune, the rest of the map feeds and only bot lane wins then gets dominated by the 300/0 darius. Or, if i play amumu, i get tons of assists but no one knows how to target no matter how many times i tell them so my 5 man ulti doesnt even matter.

Yep. I just watched a video that talked about not blaming teammates, and I made the comment that, yeah, flaming teammates doesn't help, but sometimes it really is them losing the game for you cause only some champions can 1v5.

I just had a game as Brand support where my team decided that all AD was an acceptable decision (hence Brand support instead of Nami or something else). The enemy Blitzcrank was basically worthless in lane cause I just kept poking them down so much that engaging on us was a death wish. We start grouping and the enemy Veigar could basically one shot anyone on our team with his QR except our Sejuani jungle. The only teamfights we won were the ones where I basically full combo'd the Veigar and someone finished him off. If the support is the one who needs to eliminate the main targets, there's a problem. Granted, Brand is strong regardless of items, but still, I seemed to be the only one who tried to focus him out before the fights began. The enemy team even made the comment of something like "Brand v world" and "Brand tried to carry" in the end game chat.

That or another game I had, again as Brand support, where my Vayne just tunneled so hard all game. I would get a EQW combo off and get the enemy support down to 100 health and Vayne would run straight through the minion wave, tanking the enemy ADC and such trying to get that kill only to die without getting it. The enemy jungler showed for a few seconds and escaped my stun with something like 300 health. Then I watch Vayne leave lane and chase into the enemy jungle, running past their red buff and towards their base looking for the jungler only to get collapsed on by mid and support. Luckily the rest of our team was doing good so we won, but it took me dying to her tunnel vision twice before I just left her alone to farm at our tier 2 tower and went to help the rest of the team.

You're not gonna win every game. Sometimes you will play like a god and lose. Other times your team will carry you to victory, dragging you along, kicking and screaming all the way. These are the edge cases. the majority of your games, if you're that far ahead, there was PROBABLY something you could've done. Perhaps you could've overwhelmed your lane, then quickly moved to mid to push that down, taking full control of the bottom half of the map. That gives you dragon control, and two lanes.

Still, if you can CONSTANTLY and RELIABLY get scores like that, you WILL move up.

Let me put it like this, you have to realise that the enemy teams are actual people just like you, not just champions in your game. So why is it that if they go 14-0 against your teamates, YOU deserve to win? Following your logic, the enemy team deserves to win.

ADC is my secondary. When I'm ahead, I try to take down the enemy bot tower ASAP and go try to smash down mid.

when you choos to play you are choosing to be part of a team through thin and thick. if your team loses you lose too. not complicated

Well, perhaps you're not spreading your lead to your team enough? If you can get a lead in your lane and your other lanes need help, choose a lane to apply pressure to. Call your jungler down to bot for a four man gank. Spread the wealth. Going 5/0 in lane is meaningless if you don't roam and use that lead to beat down the other enemy laners.

Remember, it's a team game. If your team needs help, go help them.
