A silver(me)once stumbled upon these 2 champions and thought to himself:wow,they are so cool,they can snowball really hard when mastered and they're pretty good in low elo after a number of games.The thing is I dont know that number so I want you guys to help me find out if I should play them in ranked or that I should stick to Darius,Fiora and Pantheon to climb that ladder

MorganFreemanBot1 votesI'd say it generally takes 10-15 games to get comfy with a champion, and then 40-50 to learn most of their ins and outs and get experience in most of their MUs. Beyond that it's perfecting, and some champions take a lot longer to perfect than others (Lee Sin vs Annie).
With that said, I know that Riven has animation cancelling going on; which may make her take longer than normal.
Kaìju1 votesAmeuture Riven player here, she takes a ton of games to learn. It's one thing to know the cancels, it's another to be able to do them, and it's another thing still to be able to do all her cancels without messing up in high stress situations like dueling or even 2v1s. You have to be able to duel cast, fast combo, and hop walls with third Q and without E to play her at a basic level. And if you don't know her fast combo, it's about 12 or so button presses. Auto Q move command attack, auto Q move command attack, auto Q move command attack. And that's supposed to be done in under 2 seconds with perfect timing. Riven is extremely hard, in my opinion one of if not the most mechanically difficult champion because her animation cancels are unique to her and no other champion has as many that are as vital to her success.
