Does KDA affect League Point gains?

In relation to posting a screenshot of a ranked game, I was asked why I'm still gaining a a healthy amount of league points (24-25) per win when I am currently 35 losses negative in ranked with less than 200 games played. I don't honestly know, I assumed it was related to duo queuing, but I can't seem to find much official information on the subject.

A couple of my friends mentioned they'd read something about league point gains being minutely affected by KDA this season and I was curious if anyone knew if that was actually the case or would know where they would've read that.

I'm struggling to find any actual information looking through old threads and I'm not finding any official responses either. Can anyone at least send me in the right direction to figure this out?

You said you are duo queuing? There's your answer why your gains are high. If you are duoing with someone higher than you you are getting matched against tougher opponents so your LP gain is higher.

No, it's not. Some people want it to be, but it's not.

I had a friend in bronze 5 who kept dodging promos to keep his ranking significantly lower than his mmr. When he finally played his promos he was gaining hundreds of LP per win and skipping divisions.

Thats whats happening to you, on a smaller scale.

Match making can be weird, it depends on who is queing for game at the same time as you.

If you constantly end up in the weaker team you are expected to loose. In that case you loose less MMR, but gain more if you win.

That way you can actually even raise your MMR despite loosing more.

I've been playing since season one, I know players often have similar ideas about things that are not true and will say they are true because they don't want to believe they're not. This is a bit different in that it's multiple people quoting something somewhere and I wanna know what the something is because I legitimately am curious. xD

They were all like I read somewhere that...-quote some jargon about making it easier for people who are clearly playing above their current ranking to rise-

I was mostly asking because I was curious if anyone had any idea where someone would get an idea like that. Multiple people who don't know each other are quoting virtually identical things on the topic and that strikes me as odd.
