[CRASH] constant bugsplats at loading screen

I was trying to enter a custom game to change some graphics settings and the client would bugsplat over and over instead of entering the loading screen. I logged out and logged back in and then repaired the client, but the issue persisted despite this (upon attempting to enter a new custom game). I am now reinstalling the client and will update this thread once it's finished.
