I built 6 armor items but the enemy adc is still killing me in less than 3 seconds, wtf i don't think that tank stats are working at all im still squisher than my own support.

Do you have a high health stat? Do you have any form of sustain? Do you have items that lower their attack speed? Are you using CC to inhibit their ability to do damage? Do you have damage to inhibit their ability to continue doing damage? Do you have allies to assist you with stopping them from doing damage?
Tanks are not duelists, please don't expect to duel an ADC.
We need thormail to be changed to an active instead of passive
Instead of 30% of damage done before reduction having it be 100% of auto attack damage taken after reduction for 4 seconds after the active has been used. Yes this means the ADC is killing themself more for getting Last whisper which is an item with no real counter play.
Think that is OP? Well it seems to be a lot more reliable item in dota 2 then leagues thornmail.
Yeah I feel the same way sometimes, tanks aren't really fun because you can't really tank anything. Thanks to Void/Last Whisper, your MR/Armour is nearly cut in half. HP is just as useless thanks to all the % damage champs(Vaaaaayne) and BotRK. I remember back in like S1 or S2 when a full tank Cho could tank a team for like 30 seconds, I wish tanks were still that useful, but just have them have not much damage. Currently you can have like 3500 HP, 200 MR and 200 Armour and you'll die in 3-5 seconds. Making this worse is the fact that all defensive items are a tier or two below the top damage items. The top 18 or so most expensive items are damage items, so even at full builds your worth as a tank is like 5k gold less than a carry. It would also be nice to have some better tank items with active that help the tank actually tank, such as an active that reduced damage to them by a % for 3 seconds, or a passive that grants bonus Armour/MR based on missing HP.
Yea, as an ADC main, I notice that when im fed, I don't even have last whisper yet, and I'm still doing tons of damage to tanks...
If your having troubles with an ADC, Have you tried building thornmail? That's the one item I try to stay away from tanks with.. beccause it'll kill me before I kill them, but if they dont have it, I'll go ham on them if my support CCs them down.
