Master Yi takes more skill than Zed: change my mind
Neither takes much skill at all but Master Yi at least has to commit to a play without having 17 trillion outs. If Zed fucks up it's no big deal just flash away and life's good.

Zed takes more skill due to having to know when to w, where to w, etc. He also has to be able to aim his Q and know if it's going to do full damage or weaker damage cause a minion is blocking the way. Yi has only one mechanic when it comes to overall skill required which is more based on knowledge of the game overall rather than the champion itself. Yi only needs to know when to use his Q and go in to avoid being cc locked which is more of a "when do I go in" type of thing than a champion skill thing.
Yi is only viable in gold 4 and below. Anything with hard CC fucks him hard in the ass since his only gap closer requires all in.

Zed used to... but not this season.
Master yi committing isn't a risk when his only counterplay is blowing him up before he can do anything because otherwise he pentakills.
Depends on context heavily. But overall Yi requires minimal effort to pull off.
People thinking that Yi takes more skill than Zed because of the latter having two blinks which are easily telegraphed, and anyone with a braincell and a good team comp can stop him in his tracks with some CC, the same way they can stop Yi. This truly is the darkest timeline.
Annie takes more skill than Yi because she doesn't have a dash, a heal, and an insta-speed boost.
Caster Minion takes more skill than Azir because he can only right-click and move.

eeeh well hang on now. With zed you at least gotta read his abilities. Yi also has a more spammable invulnerability spell.

Most of the time zed can kill your adc with just ult auto and e u don't even have to hit the q. With yi u gotta think when u should go in zed has too much free getaways he can use
