Are we ever getting a harder difficulty for it? Ever since the 2014 update, each game of intermediate difficulty is a complete massacre and its not uncommon to see people with 30-0 kill/death ratio just 1 vs 5ing the game. Even twisted treeline bots are better than summoner rift bots.
If you can confidentially face intermediate bots, I'm pretty sure you're ready for actual players.

The thing is, bots are meant to be there for newer players to have an easier time learning the game. I don't think Riot would take time to re-code bots which will always lose to decent players, since bots don't have decision-making.
Riot did however create a more challenging bot game, which they called the Doombots ;-)
