Maining Ryze End-Game Question

Ok so, I've recently found that I like Ryze so much that I want to use him as my main end-game champion. So, recently I've heard some stuff that has been bothering me about Ryze.

I've heard that he's easy and takes no skill to play and is a beginner champion due to him having no skill shot moves. Is this true? I've also heard that he's only a beginner champion and if you end-game with him you suck since he's so easy to play. They've also said that due to him having no skill shot moves and is at a cheap price he's only for the people just starting to play LoL and it's "cheap" if you play him at end game. So is this true?

Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes he is a low skill champ, but that does not mean hes only for begginners. Ryze is a very strong champ that scales VERY well into the late game. It also doesnt matter what OTHER people think, it only matters that you are having fun and enjoy the game. So play who YOU want to, no matter what other people think or say.

I don't find him very rewarding or fun to play tbh and he's too easily counter-picked right now.

I'd much rather play Nasus or something if I wanted to just farm all game because even if i got behind I could just afk farm and start 2-hitting turrets with a 40% CDR Off-Tank build.

But I think the best champions to learn are ones like Jax and Riven where you have a very duel-centric lane phase. Every trade is really gritty and there's some really cool things you can do with them and they scale pretty evenly throughout the game.
