Lee Sin W Quick Self Auto Cast not working?

Hey guys, Lee Sin's W doesn't work with Quick Self Auto Cast? Is this a bug or is this intended? I used to play Lee a fair bit quite a while ago and this was never an issue. It's not an issue on champions with shields that I play often like Ori and Morg, but it doesn't work for Lee. Please fix!

It was changed in patch 7.11. "REMOVED: No longer works with the Quick + Selfcast setting. We're looking into restoring this functionality in a later patch."

For now, and probably for a while longer, just hold alt.
