The champ select is so clunky and keeps freezing for me. I run at 120 fps in game but I feel like a potato chip in draft...
Is it something on my side? Or has anyone experienced this? New client btw
Yeah new client does that. They said they were trying to make it run more smoothly but if it's bugging you too much I'd use the legacy.
I've had it happen some, but it hasn't happened in a while. In fact, the new client as a whole has been a lot less laggy for me lately, which is good because I'm using it for the replays to record. Also, totally not a shameless plug, go check out my channel, latest gameplay put up tonight is me playing Twitch, my main, who is currently the highest win rate champion in the game. I've had issues with champ select in the new client aswell where it takes me around 7 seconds to actually search for a champion while the actual game runs fine.
For me, it gets a little laggy when all the special animations happens. Like when a champ gets picked or banned. It's super annoying when I'm trying to set up my runes, spells & adjust my masteries. I clicked the option to disable animations in my settings, but it doesn't seem to affect champ select which it should.
