Azir or Viktor?

Take into consideration that Azir and Viktor are two VERY different champs. If you're looking for a mage in the generalized sense, go Viktor. Azir deals damage out a lot like an ADC except he's significantly harder to play.

Azir is harder. Much, much harder. However, he's one of (and in my opinion, the most) rewarding champions to play well.

PROS

1. Strong poke and pushing power
2. CS is easy when not using your soldiers
3. Scales ridiculously hard
4. Amazing utility both for your team and yourself
5. HEAVY sustained damage in teamfights as long as you have good positioning
6. A good combo is VERY disorienting
7. ADDED BONUS Everything you do looks awesome - planned or not.

CONS

1. Very hard to do an all-in (He does have one, though.)
2. All skillshots (Outside of auto attacks)
3. The ultimate is a make-or-break teamfight tool at times
4. Immensely steep learning curve
5. Easily one of, if not THE hardest champ to play in the game (Riven and Lee are right up there with him)
6. Only one skin
7. ADDED BONUS People troll you really hard if you screw up a teamfight with your ultimate

PROS

1. Strong poke and pushing power (Probably stronger pushing than Azir)
2. CS is easy with your autos and your E
3. His upgraded item/abilities are worth it (E and Q especially)
4. Good control of teamfights (Definitely not as good as Azir's, but still very good)
5. Moveable AoE ultimate
6. Quickly and easily burst someone down with no problems

CONS

1. Burst mage - you have nothing if you already used all of your abilities
2. His Q doesn't do much damage unless they allow you to auto them after
3. His E is aimed in a weird way - Just one more thing to get used to
4. Unless you don't upgrade your abilities (which you SHOULD) you don't have much gold for anything else early (This isn't a huge issue, as his upgrades also give a lot of AP)
5. It's not Azir

I really can't think of much else to say about them. Just know that Azir is MUCH harder to play. If you're up to a challenge with a huge reward, go for Azir. If you just want a new champion, Viktor is your thing. I'd personally say Azir, but I'm just that kind of person. (I own both anyways.)

Viktor comes off as "I deserved that loss, well played" if he kills you while Azir comes across as... to put it in the basest, most primal form:

"POKE POKE FARM FARM FARM POKE POKE HUGE ASSHOLE OVER HERE LOL"
