[GAMEPLAY] zed's Ult (untargettable) vs nidalee bug?

think my pref attempt to post was bugged so lets try again :D

okay recently i was laning against a nidalee and i was Zed , team was losing, towards the end of the game nidalee landed her spear placing me in hunted , she used some abilities leaving me near dead, i ulted on her making myself untargettale to see if i could duke to safety.

but during mid Zed ult animation, her passive purple/pink cougar pounced on me and killed me, is this suppose to happen when your meant to be untargettable?

I play a lot of nid and I've seen this before . I'm clearly no expert and someone can explain better but it seems to be something to do with the ability being an auto attack and just the latency and ping discrepancies that the Q goes through similar to how Darius ult used to go through as long as the range was good. I've seen it through flashes, dashes, blinks. The targeted enemy dashes away and their body is clearly away from original location but the skill went through and they die mid animation.

i use to play alot of nidalee and zed is just a recent champ unlocked, ive seen this as nidalee myself but at the time i had little knowledge of many of the champs that i now play so i didnt think much to it happening or that it was possible bugged at the time.

Zed can still take damage during his ult from dot effects. If you were ignited or had a Death's Dance it's possible that you died to it's damage over time

didnt have deaths dance, and i cant say for certain it wasnt ignite although im sure she didnt use it before i ulted.

im saying its the passive purple cougar thingy because whilst i was in my ult, the cougar ghost attacked me, i even got the sound effect that it hit me, and i died on impact.

I play a lot of zed and his ult is the most easiest ult that can be countered in his class. Easy to flash out of and then zed has to wait till it comes back. Also it is easy for a teammate to ks you while in it. Never asked about it just dealing with it. Riot might know

im not talking about after youve applied the mark and are present on screen to use your abilities and/or be countered, im talking about during the animation of you applying the mark, that moment when you are classed as untargettable.

during the animation when your cross zeros on the screen to the enemy, you are classed as untargettable, at that point i was killed by nidalees ghost thingy.

but i agree zed ult can be countered in many ways.

im a bad zed as ive only played him a small number of times but against an enemy that can distance themselves from zed, i think you would try save your W (shadows) so you can keep on them and apply dmg for that +50% dmg taken bonus on the mark after they have used their distance abilities or flash. whether that works in practice is another story lol.
