Impossible to play Bard at low elos

Noticed all people do at lower elos is blame him (regardless of who is playing him) for everything. I watched in my past 3 games people, even on other side of map during laning phase, blaming Bard for mistakes they made.

It makes no sense.

I had one guy last game even harassing a Bard because he didn't build AP on him...

It is completely impossible to play him at low elos unless you are a duo bot.. otherwise you increase the risk of losing/getting harassed by 10 fold.

If you aren't in Gold & above. I highly suggest playing CC combo/carry supports until you get higher.

This isn't a Bard-specific topic though. The concept of playing low-mechanically-demanding champions to properly learn your role and climb solo queue is one of the fundamentals to improving quickly at the game.

While yes, I agree that a roam support should be played sparingly at a level where ADCs don't know how to lane safely by themselves, but this shouldn't be a "Don't play Bard" sort of post.

We are forgetting about all of the low mmr Lee Sins, Rivens, Azirs, Vaynes, uhhhh you get it haha and believe me, nothing gets easier above gold. Bronze is not "elo hell", solo queue is "elo hell" :P

I strongly dislike Bard so far. He has almost no lane presence and his kit is extremely punishing if he stays in lane and doesn't collect his chimes. This leaves his ADC stranded most of the time in a 1v2 lane. His CC is extremely unreliable and his ult is only good for catching up to people. Bard on my team has gotten me killed many, many times already with his ult in teamfights. Every Bard that I've seen dies at least a few times while roaming around for his chimes, but his damage is almost non-existent until he has a ton of them. His E is very underwhelming and doesn't stop the enemies from catching you anyway

People are still learning this new champ. I've yet to see a good one in normals. Soon enough will see team comps that build around his abilities and from there bard will find his place in soloQ

Had a bard in a game against us yesterday, losing wasn't his fault, his team just didn't play to his strengths. They had a Zed mid, Jax top, both of whom need to get in your face to do damage, so bard would ult us to get them in range, or would ult us to peel. He would stun us when we would chase, he did really well, his team just didn't know what to do. The champ isn't bad, people just don't know how to play him yet. I anticipate Bard OP threads to arrive in a week.
