Unable to play champs I like or that I'm good with due to LCS picks

My summoner name is Unleash the Pwni.

I have always loved playing the underdog or unconventional champs but noticed I have to mentally prepare before every game because I get flamed every single time.

I've noticed this is almost entirely due to LCS picks.

I typically play Trundle top, Urgot mid/top/jungle/adc, AP Ez mid, GP mid, & Zil mid before his rework.

Only after LCS saw AP Ez did I notice that the flaming stopped almost entirely when I picked him.

My last 3 games I got flamed, trolled, & reported due to my picks alone even though I played decent considering the circumstances I was placed in.

Not sure when people forgot this was still a game or how to enjoy themselves but it's driving me crazy.

There are a couple of reasons why you may have been flamed:

People thought you picked LCS champs just to become an LCS wannabe.
Even today, nobody likes Urgot, despite whatever lane he goes to T.T
As Nucleophilic Atk said, your KDA is considered averagely bad. You may have good kills, but you gave more gold advantage to enemies as well. Try to practice more.

That "this was still a game" is a comment to not take it that fkn seriously to where you harass someone more than play from champ select until the lobby afterwards.

I didn't give up, I tried my hardest to do everything I could, & most importantly, didn't harass the entire game & focused more on playing than running my mouth.

The problem isn't that you pick these champs, it's that you pick these champs and don't even play that well with them. "I got flamed even though I played well", yea 14/16/14 is really good. You didn't even have a 2.0 kda bro. You were probably flamed for picking Urgot and playing shitty with him lol. You don't even have a 3.0 kda with any of your main champs.

Now post a screen of the other people in those games on my team. The GP game, Sej/Yasuo spent more time harassing me than playing & both had the worst scores out of the other 8 of us.

That Urgot game, it was a 4v5 (our Xin didn't connect until about 20 or so minutes in then didn't farm up but instead tried to gank). We also had an AD Lulu that would never group with us when we already had 1 DC.

It doesn't matter if I picked FotMs those games, my KDA & games would've still been where they are.

I can tell most of you are the people I'm complaining about.

No, it doesn't matter WHAT champs you play, it just matters that you play champs you are good with...which you aren't good with these. You die way too many times. I only have 1 of my main champs under a 3.0 kda average. I'm talking about averages here, not your one game. Your wins should bring up your kda as much as your loses bring it down. Until you start playing better, you can't bitch about teammates. Yes, you had bad teammates those games, BUT YOU PLAYED EQUALLY AS SHITTY. So no, it wasn't "wah my teammates blame me and suck and make me lose".

People like you are the reason others don't listen to people who talk about "elo hell". The people that have legit complaints and overlooked because of people like you flooding the forums with "my team makes me lose" when you play equally as shitty.

Out of your last 6 loses (as far back as I went) you have had 1 single game that you had the highest KDA on your team. That kda was a 0.5, so doesn't even count. Point being, you are not even playing the best on your team, yet you say "post a screen of the other people in those games". Why, so everyone can see that you just aren't getting carried enough?

"Our xin didn't connect til 20 mins" YET HE HAS MORE TOTAL DAMAGE THAN YOU. What the fuck are you doing bro? 1 more ward placed than someone afk for 20 mins? You don't even have 50 more cs than someone afk for 20 mins? Stop spitting bullshit bro.

You may want to brush up on your definitions.

The point of the thread is addressing people who instantly flame & try throwing games because of someone's pick.

Yet again, you've changed what I am addressing to "my team made me lose".

Did you even read the thread?

PS: Also why don't you play in ranked anymore? Is it because you are about to drop back into Bronze? Something tells me you are one of those people that would rather spend 45 minute harassing his team than actually playing.

See, you were not harassed due to picks alone. That doesn't happen with any consistency for you to say that and be believed. Sure, someone probably said something like, "better not feed with Urgot", but that stops when the game starts....unless you suck ass and troll with a champ you don't know how to play lol.

But whatever, you're set in your ways of thinking. Not saying that's a bad thing, but it is certainly the reason you aren't climbing very efficiently. Not my issue, though.

Actually, the reason I haven't played ranked is because I can't devote the time that I need to play at peak level since I am in pharmacy school.

But yes, according to you, my 4.0 average KDA is the reason YOU can't climb with your 2.4. I guess people like me can't carry YOU hard enough. Given the lack of intelligence from your posts, I will no longer be commenting on your troll thread. I had a poppy spree not too long ago. Even when I started learning her and didn't do that good, I don't remember being flamed any more than I did when I did bad normally. When I got good with her, the flaming naturally stopped.

Hard to prove to someone before even playing that I'm going to do well.

If you're good with your picks, it doesn't really matter what other people say. You're getting harassed, mute them. They report you for picking off-meta champs, hope they enjoy getting punished for abusing the report system.

However, like most other people in this thread, I'm seeing that you're not really doing fantastic with them. Some of your build choices (IE? Really? Not an IG, a BC, a LW, or a defensive item?) are a little sketchy, and even in the games you win your deaths can get pretty high. But keep playing what you enjoy and what you're good at, ignore the haters and complainers.

I didn't even get a chance to get those items.

I went Mob boots & IE to roam more while hoping to dish out more damage with AA's after I ulted someone.

Not necessarily the only constructive person in this thread, but meh.

As for the IE pick in general, IE does NOT add as much damage to an Urgot as it would for an ADC who gets PD right after. IE requires crit chance and a heavy reliance on auto attacks to be at its most effective, neither of which Urgot really prioritizes, given his primary status as an AD caster (Your Qs cannot crit). If you were going for roaming presence, IG's slow, BC's armor shred, and LW's damage from armor pen would have given you more power than IE's crit for a lower cost. Heck, BT would have been a better choice than the IE, giving you sustain and defensive power on top of a very similar offensive spike for 300 gold cheaper.

Right which goes to show any champ can work & you shouldn't be harassed for liking them.

They prolly played on the patch before Urgot was even buffed & Yorick hasn't seen buffs in awhile.

In pretty positive this week is on 5.5, so Urgot was buffed.

Yorick was basically being used for his ult to keep Cassiopeia alive longer.

Love seeing these champs playing but I'm sure this Olaf, Sion mid, & Garen all got flamed the entire game.

The main thing none of you are addressing is regardless of my picks.. if they aren't seen in LCS you have a much higher chance of getting flamed.

With your picks and level of skill you should be prepared for flame and reports.

You say that your teammates are trolling, however, the only person that seems to be trolling (to your teammates) is you. Imagine if someone on your team was on the deciding game for his/her promos/series and you decide to play Urgot and go 5-15-0??

Sure there's no problem playing non-meta champs in norms, but if you decide to take it to ranked you better be playing at a high level.
