a warning perhaps?

Getting kicked from lobby and losing promos for a lowly silver is no fun.

Didn't even realize it was my turn to pick because the timer just counts down the same as it does for everyone else.

How about a warning or something when it is your turn?

Didn't even realize it was my turn to pick because I was too busy working on team comp in chat... we need the same kind of warning for summoners before game starts to prevent junglers NOT taking smite...

Can't possibly be that hard to implement, and a huge QOL change for EVERYONE
