games in lower elo is not luck
if you think you are better then your lower tier games then you will win more games because your team would have 4 bad players and 5 bad players on the other team meaning that you have that much of an edge when playing

Its down to luck in the game u get the bad enemies if they are your lane, (and therefore you can capitalize off them) or not, and if not, if your teammate who is laning with them can capitalize. Its also down to luck whether the member who gets fed is snowbally or not and can actually make use of the kills effectively enough to solo carry.
Also try maining support in low elo. All of your carry efforts are useless because people dont follow up on engages, have awful positioning so even with peel with sometimes just stand there and die and ignore all wards and pings placed.
Over time, yes you will climb but it can take a huge huge number of games for the advantage to become noticeable and pay off.
I used to think this was the case, but there are far too many factors at play now. Bronze is a shit-show of impatient jackasses queueing up for support and generally ruining the game because they have no idea what they're doing. Lo and behold, not knowing how to support correctly means that you're going to die as support Wukong when you instantly rush Ravenous Hydra, and subsequently get killed a bunch.
Because of this, bot lane is a crapshoot, and since Riot is making it more and more mandatory to have a fed marksman to win the game, you're pretty much fucked if you get stuck with one of these assholes.
Even worse are the total degenerates that main Yasuo, Zed, Talon, or Katarina and decide to jungle with these champions when they can't get their mid role in less than 5 minutes, feed all of the lanes to shit whenever they gank, and lose the game for you or at least make it difficult for you to carry.
That is assuming that your four aren't worse than their other 4 and your competing 5th. That is assuming the players on your team picked well against the enemy comp.
Its assuming that you are not only better, but better enough to make up for whatever deficit/mistakes your teammates may create.
Games are matched by mmr, so doesn't that mean if your mmr is higher you get 4 worse players to balance the game?
