item 3124 Is really strong on a lot of champions because of its passive.

I don't know why it isn't used more

Because even the champions that can go both AP and AD rarely choose both at the same time.

It's odd, really. You think it'd work stupendously on Jax because it synergises so well with his passive but if you actually try it out it's relatively lackluster... Looking at the stats, fully stacked you get 32 AP and and +32% AS. And the second-wind passive gives you +52% AS in total, along with +10% lifesteal/spellvamp. I really don't know why this doesn't seem to work out all that well. Is it just because the passive effects are so situational?

Because there are better items to work with. I imagine anyway.

if id imagen a champ id build this one Evelynn would be it ( id usualy play ap eve ) and people tell me these items are bad but i really love them on eve item 3708 item 3116 item 3151

they seem much better for her than starting with a item 3124 to me especialy the slow on item 3116 seems to do allot for her with her q

by the time i have finished these 3 items id expect tanks to have both mr and armor so getting a litle bit of ad wouldnt seem worth it annymore ?

id say its a good early game item because what the heck are you gonne build mr or armor ? ( id say hp ) :P but id think id rather buy other stuf usualy

It's got really crap raw stats (40 AP and 30 AD) for a damage item and it's just not worth the 10% lifesteal/spellvamp and 20% attack speed that it doesn't even work with (bcz of the crap AP and AD i.e. crap damage to spellvamp/lifesteal off of). You can look at something like Hextech Gunblade which gives more immediate effectiveness than Rageblade with 80 AP and 40 AD and an immediate, non conditional 10% lifesteal with a 20% spellvamp and an active that slows for utility. Admittedly Hextech is AP Centric but it is the only other Hybrid item that exists and it is way more effective.

If they could increase the 10% lifesteal to 20%, increase the 20% attack speed to 30% and increase the raw 30 AD to 60 AD which would effectively lean it towards AD attackspeed champions, it would be picked much more often, it's got a great passive it's just weak and underwhelming. Champions that it would work on would be Attackspeed based such as Aatrox Jax XinZhao who also have AP scalings would benefit with this a lot.
