  1. Don't worry about who gets the kill! I always see people complaining about "support stole my kill." This isn't a good way to think about it. A "stolen" kill is better than no kill.

  2. When a gank is successful (kill or forcing a back,) shove the wave even if it means giving jungler some of the top lane farm.

  3. Play like ADC and support are one champion. The ADC is the damage in the kit and the support is the utility, CC, poke (depending on who you play) in the kit.

  4. If you are behind in lane, it is okay to give up some CS and let the lane push to where you can safely farm.

  5. Turret damage. Melee is 2 tower shots and an auto attack, casters are 1 tower shot and 1 auto attack (sometimes AA, tower shot, AA)

  6. Avoid dying. This one seems pretty simple but a lot of time I see people take unnecessary risks in lane. This also means waiting for your team to be near to engage for a team fight.

  7. Forcing a back is just as beneficial as getting the kill. Instead of chasing the low health Udyr through jungle, go get a turret.

  8. Your KDA does not matter! Focus on the win!

  9. When a team fight breaks out, DO NOT RUN! Even if you die during that team fight but other team gets aced, it was a successful team fight.

  10. DON'T BLAME THE JUNGLER! If he messed up a gank, reset the lane, farm, and look for opportunities to win trades.

  11. This one is for the really new players. If you do not know what items to build go with the recommended build. There are a lot of items and it can get confusing. 9/10 times if you go with the recommended build you will do alright.
