How long until you find what league you belong in for ranked

So just some background. I was placed bronze 5 and got to bronze 3 since then. I'm not claiming "I BELONG IN PLAT IM SO GOOD CARRY ALL THE TIME BUT I HAVE FEEDERS". But I will say I've been doing well and climbing fairly easy. However I know that eventually ill stall somewhere. How many games does it take to find where you really belong. Is it 50 games without moving up, 100, 150 or maybe more? Just looking to ask experienced people who have climbed before.

After 20 games you should already be able to see how well you are doing. After 50 games you should be placed in the right elobracket. After 200 games you should be where you belong.

That's just me thinking about the good ol' days. Maybe i wrong, everyome has another opinion regarding this matter. You say you are a newer player: If you have any questions regarding the game, how a champion works or how you can improve things of whatever you want to know, feel free to ask.

This sounds like i am talking down to you. Maybe i am. But i like helping people get into the game that is all ^^.

Thanks everyone. And no, I don't think youre talking down to me. And I'm an new old player, just started playing again weeks ago but used to play a ton like 5 years ago. Thanks again

As long as you keep winning you'll keep climbing. When your win/loss ratio begins to level out, you'll start to see your LP gains from wins reduce and your losses increase. I'd estimate that if you have a 70+% win rate, then you'll keep climbing without any issues. May be way off with that, but take it for what's it worth.

You can probably climb with even something as "low" as a global 55% winrate. A 70% winrate on a single champ would be enough to climb consistently and compensate for the games where you cannot play this champ.

I can only give you my experience from last season. I was placed in Silver 4 after being Gold 1 previously. It took me around 180 games to grind my way up to Platinum 5. I could probably go a bit higher, but not much. My win ratio was around 54%, I think.
