Playing tanks doesn't feel satisfying
I charge at the enemy ADC and watch him pummel me with 1k crits despite the fact that I have 300 armor and 3.8k health and hope that I bought enough time for my team to win the fight.

Have you ever played fighters that revolve around tanking? Xin Zhou is awesome at this. My preferred build goes something like this:
, not necessarily in that order though. It also depends on whether you go jungle or top, but Zephyr for me is a must first item, due to its attack speed, damage, and movement bonus. And the boots are more situational rather than a must, but it certainly helps with the ADC's. Also, if you want you could play Darius. He is tanky, (while not actually being a true tank) and as long as you get your stacks of Hemorrhage, deals plenty of damage. Another great tank is Vladimir, and if you get fed, you are nearly unstoppable. My Vladimir build goes:
and then a
. You have magic penetration, end with 4,023 health, 626 AP, and also have some Damage over Time. I use ignite and flash for Vlad, adding to the Damage over Time, and it does 12% increased damage with your ult.
These are just some examples that I really enjoy playing. If the ADC kills you in a second or two, then the ADC may be fed, probably resulting in a GG.
