Climbing from Bronze

I currently am in Bronze 3 and am unable to get out. I definitely believe I belong in high silver/ low gold since I go positive pretty much all the time, win my lane, and carry my team. The problem is I always (9 times out of 10) get matched with kids that are either arguing, feeding, AFK, etc. and we end up losing because of it. Ive been playing since 2013 and what used to be a fun time playing has become more of a chore and Im debating quitting for good. I just think in game player performance should have somewhat of impact on your rank. What do you guys think? I wanna here some other peoples opinions before I make a decision.

As someone currently in gold, it's almost impossible to belong in gold and be in bronze. If you put me in game with bronze players I will carry even if I have a bad start. In fact, that's exactly what happened in my last two games, if you check my history, (my last 2 Master Yi games that are S rated) when I queued in normals with my friends who are lower rated.

What champs do you play?

EDIT: took a look at your match history and it seems you are playing too many different roles and champions. You should be playing 1-3 champions only, at 1-2 roles.

You seem to do well in your games, so it's possible that your decision making is off and possibly you are not trying to work with your team. I know some people say mute all then do whatever you want. That works if you're a diamond smurf, but since you're not you should at least try to work with your team and try to stay positive.

Ive got silver MMR but dont play ranked. But lets put it this way. Ive played against bronzes. Even as someone who might only place like S4. I mop the floor with them. I just roll and assassin and hard carry. If you really belonged in High silver Low Gold you would be there.

Also, don't think that you're trash for being in bronze and silver. There's a lot of good players in those leagues. Gold is already like Diamond in other games. League divides the leagues a bit unfairly to make you think you suck.

Check out this video series of silvers placed in diamond. Yea they don't belong there (except the one I link) but they don't get completely crushed. The skill difference isn't THAT high.

EDIT to answer your prev post:

I think support can be frustrating to climb with BUT you do have some advantages. First, you are in lane with the ADC, arguably the most important role according to people these days. Second, as a support, you can and should be roaming. So as a support you can work with mid, jg and adc.

I think the worst role to climb with is top. I was top and I couldn't climb out of silver. It was really tilting too.

Ok bud. Before I start offering my thoughts and tips I'll preface by saying I know how you feel. I was hard stuck Bronze III last season too. But I started improving my play towards the later half of the year and after getting placed in Bronze IV this season, I managed to climb into Silver pretty quickly.

So I understand how you feel and have been in your position before.

1.)

For the love of Teemo

STOP. BLAMING. YOUR. TEAM.

And also drop your bronze complex

Getting bad teams suck I know. But you simply can't blame 90% of your losses on them. Doing that simply gives you what I call Bronze Syndrome. I had it too. I always thought I was being held back by horrible teams. I never once put myself at blame and that mindset is very damaging. It just made me very frustrated with the game and look like a fool.

So just stop blaming your team for everything.

Also don't over value yourself. You're Bronze III with a 53% win rate. You'll most likely get stomped in Gold/High Silver.

2.)

STOP PLAYING RANKED

This may seem counter productive but stop playing ranked.

3.)

STOP PLAYING SUPPORT AND TOP

Just don't play those roles. Playing them makes climbing significantly more difficult.

4.)

STOP PLAYING 6 DIFFERENT CHAMPIONS

The best way to climb is by playing one or two champions. Playing too many is counter productive.

5.)

FIND SOMEONE THAT YOU LIKE, CAN EASILY CARRY, AND CAN PLAY MULTIPLE ROLES. ALSO MAKE SURE THEY ARENT TOO POPULAR

I personally chose Veigar. He isn't banned too often and nor is he played too often.

6.)

SPAM THEM IN NORMALS

Just play them until you can hit at least a 60%+ win rate (and mastery 7) with them.

7.)

PLAY THEM IN RANKED

8.)

PROFIT

BONUS TIP

FIND SOMEONE TO DUO QUEUE WITH.

Find someone reliable and duo queue with them. Now you can trust one less person to feed miserably.

Note:

I'm a Veigar main so I am obligated to yell at you for building Ludens.

Arch angels is extremely strong right now and fits Veigar perfectly. So start abusing it.

Rush Arch Angels.
