Being forced to dodge

This is something that has been bothering me for a while now and just happened again today. I got into champ select as ADC and my support hovers Blitzcrank but the other team then bans him. He then locks in Yi support and starts talking gibberish and refuses to dodge so I end up dodging because I'm not going to waste my time playing a game with a troll that I know we already lost. I don't find this fair at all and Riot definitely needs to fix this. I know it happens a lot but what does everyone else think about it?

Nobody forced you to dodge - you dodged because you did not like someone's off-meta pick. They are fully permitted to pick whatever champion they want so long as they try to win - and they are obviously unable to "not try to win" until the game starts. There is no enforced meta, and Riot has repeatedly stated they are firmly against that.

Do you have a magic 8-ball or something? If he doesn't want to dodge and play the game, that's his choice. There is no such thing as "refuse to dodge". You don't know that he will troll or the game is lost. Anyone can pick any champ into any role as long as he play to win.

You dodge of your own will. No one forces you. Nothing unfair about that. When you click the X button, there's a confirmation if you really want to go through with it. No one forces you to click YES.
