is your rating based on your role?

I have 2 S grades on Ivern and I'm going for my 3rd. I noticed its way easier to get an S on Ivern playing support rather than his main role jungle, regardless if I play better as a jungler. I just went 2,0,17 as jung and didn't get an S but I know if i got that same score as support it would have been an S. Is the role you pick a bigger factor than the score you get? I'm feeling robbed

Yes, it's based on player performance with that champion in that role. Which is why off roles have higher chance of an S if you do decent enough. Less available data or mains/good performers.
