New Champion Select Dodge Issues

I feel when you are going through the final moments of picking your champion in the new Champion Select you shouldn't have to lock in your champion. I tried to play 5 games in a row and they all were dodged because people don't read the fine print. If you have a champion selected you should not have to lock in. That's how it's always been and that's probably how it should remain just to keep the general consensus of Champion Select the same. Thanks Riot.

PS. YOU GUYS KILLED VALOR! MY FAVORITE CHAMPION IS NOW GONE FROM THE GAME AND I DON'T EVEN GET AN ICON?! HOW COULD YOU!? YOU HAVE NOW OFFICIALLY REMOVED A CHAMPION FROM THE GAME! QUINN WASN'T ALWAYS JUST "QUINN" REMEMBER ON RELEASE SHE WAS RELEASED AS "QUINN AND VALOR"!?!? My soul is hurt.
