Non-standard Champions incorrect roles.

Heimerdinger is listed as an adc but treated as a non-standard bot laner by the community.

I'm getting feedback and often trolled by my team and support champions for even selecting him as my bottom lane champion.

I will continue to play him as my sole bot lane champion, however I feel the game needs to take the same approach Overwatch has in the regard of champion selection.

Its not amusing to receive negative feedback for 3 consecutive games, and proceed to be trolled in the latter. Why force players to commit to a 45 minute solo game w/ this sort of abuse? If a players champion is non-standard it simply shouldn't be aloud toward that role.

My final game today was with a Miss fortune support building Ability power. I don't adversely care about his champion selection, but he intentionally decided to play a non-standard champion and stack a non-standard build to trouble to vex my progress in a ranked game....

Solo play seemingly needs more restrictions than group / team to foster a more tolerable community. I also like to state I miss the role specific rankings. -Overwatch is doing that now...

Heimer has been played in bot lane as an AP Carry in LCS, and on the pro stage. It isnt a Standard pick but it by far is not trolling.

I understand what you are saying but by stopping unconventional champs from going to different lanes you stop the evolution of the game and enforce a META, Riot games already does a soft enforcement by nerfing champs who were intended for a very specific role (see top lane soraka). However there are some champs that are too strong as a certain role and too week as another. Heimer with the right support (a CC heavy one) is actually a really strong bot lane champion, however if you are last second picking him then you are not making your intentions clear to your team which is something people to get huffy about.

I personally HATE when someone does not hover a champ before it is my turn to pick, i am a support main and if we have all AP i go pyke, if we have no tank i go a tank, no AP then i go an AP support. So if you are not hovering your champ atleast after ban phase then you may end up with all AP champs and can lose the game that way.

The last thing riot needs to do is take away our freedom of choice. I play fiora mid, talong jungle, and udyr adc. Not once does my team assume im trolling. But i understand what you are saying, but riot doesnt need to take away the last thing that makes this game fun. If i want to play graves mid then im damn well going to.

I get what yall sayin.

They should at least highlight recommended champions during ranked play.

I decided to concentrate a heim bot lane due to that list.

Then perhaps restrict troll players from disregarding it if they're reported enough.
