Hello guys, just wanted to ask you an information because I have heard different answers about that: if I reached gold V, is it possible to drop to silver I after a certain amount of losses? I think it is, but someone still claims that tier demotion isn't possible. What's the truth?
Richard4 votesYeah, but your MMR need to drop to an entire league below so it's highly unlikely unless you lose many more games than you win.
You'd need Silver V MMR to drop down from Gold V. (It's why there are massive spikes in player numbers in S5/G5/P5/D5.)
