I'm a Rengar main, started around Season 3. Noticing that I loved almost everything about him, from his voice overs, his animations, spell sfx, ability voice effects. I have 900,000 exp on my main (Sebunsuta) 500,000 exp on my smurf (SevenstarsCF) and 200-300k on my other smurf account (debirunoteiru). What saddens me is that Rengar is not the same how he was made. I know, it's obvious but, I'm not talking about the usual.

Whenever Rengar battleroars, he would majority of the time either say "Come on!", "Let's fight!", or he would just roar like a lion. This new rengar doesn't do the same, 95% of the time when I cast battleroar to "heal", he would just roar and, only roar. Hearing him say his lines was thrilling, now, it's just him roaring (once or twice). It's a shame to rarely hear his battleroar quotes anymore. Is there any way you guys could implement this back, it would be very appreciated.

PS. I still prefer his original artwork over the new one.

Change rengar back, he's not what his personality is anymore, weird to play, no attack speed. This is the recipe for a burst laner. Rengar is not a laner, he's supposed to be a stealthy cat that focuses one target at a time, his q just ruins it even though it does good damage

What abbout his new Q? It feels less rewarding. You had this nice, consistent impression of heavy thrusting attacks. He is now fluffing his knives with great discrepancy between damage output and the animation/sound effects. Also, there is no longer a visual difference between a normal attack and a critical ?

Old Rengar needed a lot of skill. New Rengar requires almost zero skill and have the same damge output while at the same time being unfun to play. Now even Rengar mains hates him! I've started this thread, trying to focus on the fact that the new Rengar is a failure.

Im not sure what to think of the rework, the W doesnt seem much better than it was previously. He seems strong early with his low cd Q but from what ive experienced he falls off really hard later on, his assassinations lategame arent that good, 1: because the target can see you miles away and 2: because of the changed vision, if the target is anywhere near his team you can even get close. I havnt played him much and i will wait to see what other people say about it, but im a bit worried that Rengar will be as weak and see as little play as he did this season.

i like how his q makes him feel like he puts more savagery into his fighting style (the fact that he can miss but he gets aoe is a good tradeoff)

but the battle roar quotes do the complete opposite now, instead of giving me the feeling that im a savage predator who gets the thrill off a hunt that his new q does they seem to of gone back a few steps with his w quotes

its a shame and i would like if they changed it

For me, his quotes are very important. I would be extremely happy, if they could bring back old bonetooth necklace quotes. It was so satisfying to hear ''I'm just getting started'', ''More prey, more prizes'', especially after killing someone. Sad, but they will never do it, because, when did Riot listen to players and their demands? - never.
