I was wondering if I can get help on finding a laptop for college/league of legends. I'm not great at understanding computers stuff so, I always tend to find it difficult on choosing which is the best laptop for me?

Price range: $400-$700 Battery life: 6-8hrs Portability: High (laptop under 5lbs) Screen size: 13-14 inches Hard drive space: 500GB - 1TB Operating system: Windows 10 (or if you can persuade me that Windows 8 is better)

Please no laptops that look 'flashy' (lights/different colors). Plain ol' nice laptop.

Honestly if you want to just play league almost any laptop in the price range will run it on high settings. Go for an i5 if you want better battery life, 8gb ram max, 1tb hdd is standard but try getting one with 120gb ssd as well for boot time. And that should get you started.

To be honest gaming on a laptop sucks, I have an m14x, and I regret not just pouring more money into my desktop, could of bought 3 980 Tis now an days with how much it cost.

Tldr: any laptop now and days can run league

I can get ~70ish fps on medium-high graphics on a bootcamped Mac Air (notoriously bad for gaming). If you're looking to buy just for league, you can get just about anything (even a potato). Generally though, your biggest worry is getting a laptop with a halfway decent graphics card.
