What's the point of No surrender votes?

Currently, a team of 5 needs 4 Yes surrender votes to surrender for the team. If there are 3 for and 0 against, the vote fails despite no objections. If you don't want to surrender, there seems to be no difference between clicking No and not voting at all. The only thing cilcking No does is potentially speeding up the vote if it's waiting on you.

It's so that obnoxious crap gets off my screen sooner.

Yes this is a failure on Riots part. This is an example of poor coding by the creator. Even if the system only needed 2 positive votes to surrender and 4 people voted no, the countdown still stays for the duration. It sadly requires the entire time even though a threshold of "no" has been met.

This is just poor coding by the creator. Half ass job and they didn't bother to write a small escape function. Pretty annoying. Makes me really wonder how it is actually written.

So did you just want to vent?

I kind of agree. 4/1 4/0 should be surrenders, 3/1 and 3/0 should also be surrenders, and 2/0 should be a surrender.

My favorite part is when there are already 2 no votes which means it failed but it still stays on my screen because not everyone voted

I don't vote simply because I don't deem it worth my time. If you want to surrender don't play ranked. Do it in a mode where a loss doesn't impact others that much.

I think some people don't get the point of my post. On a team of 5, your No vote does not affect the outcome. The only thing that matters is not voting Yes.

With that said, why have a No vote at all?
