Is it just me or do Poke Mages feel pretty bad right now?

The prevalence of lifesteal(and other sustain methods)on anything and everything just makes poke mages feel very bad at the moment. You can't push people out of lane very well, they just sustain it right back up. Feels like the only useable picks right now as far as mages go are either the ones that can basically 100-0 people, or the ones that can use a completely uninteractive playstyle to farm from safety and ignore the other player completely.

As long as assassins are a thing poke mages will probably never be a thing.

Poke mages excel at tower sieges. Lifesteal only works if they can attack enough minions to heal. Unfortunately with riot nerfing the crap out of towers constantly and making early game snowballing all the more prevalent, it's no wonder they are completely useless in this meta
