If Fiddlesticks gets grabbed by Blitz he's dead. There's no free engage there because Fiddlesticks needs to channel his Crowstorm.

If Fiddlesticks does get to channel Crowstorm, no Blitzcrank will every pull Fiddlesticks into his team during his ultimate unless Fiddlesticks gets the filthiest read on when Blitz will use his hook.

Blitz is only good now because everyone wants to pick team comps with multiple ADC's and only 1 tank if that. Blitz actually isn't good against comps with multiple tanks or beefy fighters like Darius, Illaoi, Nasus etc. who don't mind being pulled.
