Riot is going down a very dangerous Design path

Hello everyone,

I am here to talk about a dangerous design path i have noticed riot is starting to do so before i get to much hate for voicing this out try to understand the point im trying to get at.

So lets talk about healing and shielding. people always talk about it being an issue in league or its to strong. now yes and now its a Healthy and unhealthy thing to have. now theres many issues with the way how it works in league like recently when riot gave the adcs way to much sustain in lane it does become an issue. but think healing and shielding is needed as well to stop just stupid damage or massive poke lanes from happening in the game because there needs to be some type of counter play to it. same with there needing to be counterplay to healing and shielding.. which riot had one type added in being ignite,executioners, morellos, bramblevest? i forgot its name but the armor one, which is good .

now we notice with 2 reworks so far riot is adding in a new form to destroy shields. being on Irelia and now the new Aatrox has a passive that deals with reducing shields.. now the problem with this is with the recent shield nerfs they want to do.. and introducing so far alot of champions that basically destroy shields. this is where the issue comes in. if they introduce to much of it and shields or healing becomes to weak.. then they need to super buff the shields in the future (basically just causing an endless cycle of issue)

idk i just feel like this is going to start a whole new chain of issues in league and in gameplay design

note im half asleep right now so things may seem a bit confusing if you can try to piece it together and understand if you have read it all ty for taking the time to read this.. its something ive been thinking about ever since they first introduced ires rework

not really. One can always Nerf duration. If needed one can also just Buff amount and/or just add utility to the abilitys. Sheilds need to be a proactive cast to prevent damage, heals are a reactive cast after damage has been done.
