Item stats not reflected in postgame at all?

So I have recently been using a lot of Banner and Portal as a support. On average, I'd say I deal over 10K damage to turrets with these items a game. However, I never see this reflected in post game stats. Even objectives, unless the item gets the final hit, I do not register as an assist on an objective. The gold also does not show up anywhere, making my income look a tad wonkey if did not look at my own items weeks later.

Is Riot doing anything to adjust or fix this so proper metrics can be recorded?
